How quickly time flies. March is almost over.
So much for New Year's resolutions eh?
I'm working on another digital painting, but it's taking forever.
Work has been keeping me pretty busy too.
So here's the obligatory, generic girl sketch.

nice kartoon
Dang dude, you so good.
Awesome dude!
The girl sketches aren't the obligatory thing; it's the quality Justin Hunt illustration that's demanded. Thank you for delivering again, good sir.
thanks for the fantastic recommendation of "Sansho the Bailiff "
a fantastic movie i've never seen.
Thanks everyone!
She's rough, and unresearched, but what the heck...
flaviano--
I'm glad you got a chance to see it. For any one else who's interested in Sansho, the entire film is on youtube here:

(copy/paste to your browser)
Probably better to watch it on DVD or in a theater, but if you can't find it to buy or rent, it's there.

Thanks again everyone!
I will try to post more soon.
Regarding Sansho the Baliff on youtube, I guess it's been taken down now. I thought the movie might be old enough that copyright issues were less of an issue, but I guess not.
I apologize if it seems like I was encouraging piracy in anyway. As I said, I thought it might be old enough to be public domain material. Anyway the film is available on a Criterion Collection DVD release in the U.S. which I own. It is worth buying, and has interviews with Mizoguchi's crew and some actors and actresses that worked on the film.
Suprislingly I guess Mizoguchi himself didn't like the movie, and the notes the studio gave him pressuring him into making the film about Zushio as opposed to the Sansho the Baliff character which Mizoguchi was more interested in, hence the title "Sansho the Baliff".
The ironic thing is that the strength and the emotion of the film for me comes from Zushio's story.
Anyway if you can rent or buy it on DVD it's a great film, and again I apologize for recommending the pirated link.
I'm glad i ran into you at the wrap party! Thanks for congratulating me on the book, in person! as well as on my blog.
